Pokhara is the second largest city of Nepal, located approx 200 km away from Kathmandu (The capital of Nepal). This beautiful city is located in tranquil valley and rounded off by Himalayan Annapurna mountain region. 1.Annapurna Base Camp
The trail that progresses towards the Annapurna Base Camp is bedecked with scenery and sights of every kind imaginable. Steady and gradual climbs through its dense forests and fertile terrace fields bring us to be amazed by the majestic and upright peaks of the Annapurna Mountains. Nayapul, Ghandruk, Sinuwa, Deurali and the base camp are the spots you will stay overnight during the trek.
Traversing the scenic vistas, over course of
nine days you will be engaging yourselves trekking through carpeted ridges and
ravines to arrive at Machapuchare Base Camp (3700m) and finally towards
the destination of this epic journey, Annapurna Base Camp, and then back to
Pokhara.
2.Temple of Tal Varahi
Tal Varahi or Tal Barahi is a
lake temple in the Kaski District of Nepal. Dedicated to the Hindu Goddess
Durga, this temple is located on a small island in the Lake Phewa of Pokhara,
and is a great source of spirituality in the Nepalese Hindu population.
10 minutes drive from Pokhara, located on
an island in the middle of phew lake, it can be reached by a boat from Varahi
ghat.
3.World Peace Stupa
World Peace Stupa is
located on the southern side of Phewa lake in the top of the mountain. It is
one of the best and popular hiking destination in Pokhara. Its obvious
reason is from the top of the hill you’ll get the spectacular mountain views of
the Annapurna range.Also, you’ll get an amazing view of the Pokhara valley at
one side.The Peace Pagoda has four main Buddha statues. All these statues
reflect four prominent stages of Buddha’s life.
4.The World Peace Pagoda

other mountain peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri to its surface. The most
important monument of Pokhara, Barahi Temple is located at a small island In
the middle of the lake.
This is one among the best places for Boating and kayaking in Nepal. Kayaking boats and suits can be hired here on an hourly basis. You can hire a boat for a couple or individual or you can join a group of the shared boat. Boating is allowed here, till 7:00 Pm.At evening you can have a relaxed time and enjoy the restaurants, bars, dance bars and souvenir shops at eastern shore of lake. Some resorts and restaurants organises cultural and western musical shows in evening. Most of the restaurants and bars serve up till 11:00 pm.

6.David’s fall
Witness
a unique waterfall that lies 2 Km from central Pokhara City. The water fall
directly goes into a deep and narrow canal with no ends. It is believed that
this deadly waterfall took the life of a tourist named Davis, who fell down
into the canal and was never found, and hence the name Davis waterfall, named
in his memory by the people of Pokhara. This place has many nicknames like
Davy's Fall, David's Fall or Davis's Fall, all mean the same thing `The Davis
Water Fall'.
7.Gupteshwor Temple
Our next destination is a mysterious cave that lies
near the stunning David’s fall. The cave is mysterious in sense it preserves a
phallic form of Lord Shiva called Shivalinga. It holds a high value
amongst the Hindu pilgrims. As the Shivalinga li in the cave, it is popularly
known as Gupteshwor temple and the cave is known as Gupteshwor Gupha.
Many Hindu pilgrims around the world
visit this place with high Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave isocated in the
Southeast of Pokhara. It is at Chhorepatan. Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave is situated
on the Tansen Road of Pokhara.
8.Sarangkot.
The perfect pre-trek warm-up. Sarankot is most famous for the view of sunrise and sunset view. From here you can enjoy the beautiful mountain range view in clear day. You can rent a motor bike for under NPR700 and take yourself to the top. The road is rough, but traversal. Great views, spectacular images and a great way to get a taste of what it's like to be trekking.
9.Begnas Lake
Begnas Lake is situated in South-east of
Pokhara Valley in Lekhnath Municipality. It is the second largest lake after
Phewa Lake.The lake supports irrigation and fisheries. Water level in the lake
is regulated by a dam constructed in 1988 as it fluctuates with season and
because of use for irrigation. Pressure of increasing human population is
forcing conversion of swampy area into land for cultivation. Boating,
fishing and swimming are some of the activities you can indulge in, the bonus
being surrounding green mountains. It's not much difficulty to handle the
boat. The best time to visit the lake is in the winter.
10.Mahendra Cave
Entrance of Mahendra Cave,
named after one of Nepal's kings, discovered by a shepherd, is a large
limestone cave. It is a rare example of a cave system in Nepal containing
stalagmites and stalactites. A statue of Hindu lord Shiva can be found
inside the cave.Mahendra Cave is a popular
and old Cave in Pokhara. Mahendra Cave is known as Mahendra Gufa in Nepali
language. Located in north of Pokhara. About 10 kilometers from Lakeside.
